Rya for Principal
Some of the requirements for graduating high school make no sense. They force you to take classes that, after high school, you'll never use them again. If I had the power to create a class, it would be like an Adult Prep class. This class would give you the basic skills needed to survive on your own after high school, when we all get thrown out into the real world. It would teach us how to budget, how to write checks, how to balance a checkbook, how to build credit. This class would also cover what and what to do when cooking, cleaning, taking care of children, manage time, pay taxes, apply for loans and all that jazz. We are required to take so many ridiculous classes, why not require learning things we will actually use in life?

Snow Days
I HATE SNOW DAYS!!! Every time we cancel, my hear is cold like the flakes on the ground! It's great to have a day off, but not five. Because as always, we have to make them up at some point and they always end up cutting into my summer, and sorry but I rather have more summer days than some snow days. Snow days are like karma, they are nICE now but in about three months you'll wish you would have never had them. Cancellations in January cut into my sunny days in May and I am not a fan!
English and Rya
English and I have always gotten along pretty well. I've never struggled with it, even from a young age. English classes seem to be the same stuff every year to me. I feel like I Lear the same thing religiously evey year! Don't get me wrong, I love writing and making crazy stories that I pull out of my butt and sharing them with everyone, but I swear if I get told to read another book from hundreds of years ago but some author I can't even pronounce, or to put my commas in the right spot, or go over all the different "there's" one more time, I'll pull my hair out. I love English, I've always found it fun and I love reading, but I do get annoyed with the basic English classes where I'm learning the same thing my 13 year old sister is learning. Hopefully this year will be different tho.
