Dickinson vs. Whitman

Dickinson has a sense of humor and a self chosen seclusion. Whitman thought he was a little daredevil. Whitman is what I saw as boastful. They both clearly think a lot about the afterlife and share their view on death. The appear to me as having a similar way of thinking, yet views on how one should live their life is very different.
Dickinson stays secluded in her home with her sister away from people. Today we see this as strange and they did during her time as well. However, she was far from boring and unsocial. She was known for lowering  basket of fruit to children and would laugh as she watched them play. Which contrasts from Whitman who out and about. Nevertheless they were both very social.
Both Dickinson and Whitman seem to question religion. For these two writers it was easy to see that religion was obsolete. Dickinson did seem to be agnostic and Whitman be complete over it. They both seem to be okay with approaching death and not in fear of it.
Although they have similarities and differences they are both great writers and known for their innovation. Tbh though; I hate these two old farts, they almost bored me to sleep at 8 am. Thanks.

The Fall of the House of Usher

I did notice very many differences between the book and the movie. First and foremost the main character in the movie isn't there to see Rodrick, "his friend", hes there to marry Roderick's sister. The movie is basically a Hollywood love story. The book is more of a testimony of a friend watching his friend internally struggle which is more of a mental illness. In the move Rodrick is just crazy, creepy, annoying, and can you say  MONOTONE??

Double Divas

I do not watch the walking dead. I do not watch much TV in general. I did however love the series Double Divas on Netflix! Double Divas is about two women named Molly and Cynthia who own a lingerie store in Atlanta, GA. These women are hilarious, but are NOT the "sexiest" women you'll ever witness. They have this store for women to come in and help them find undergarments that are comfortable but make women feel pretty. They say every woman should be reminded that they are made in Gods image and are fierce and beautiful. Everyone deserves to feel that way. My favorite of the two is Molly for sure. Molly's motto is "None too big, and none too small. We fit 'em all!"
