The Fall of the House of Usher

I did notice very many differences between the book and the movie. First and foremost the main character in the movie isn't there to see Rodrick, "his friend", hes there to marry Roderick's sister. The movie is basically a Hollywood love story. The book is more of a testimony of a friend watching his friend internally struggle which is more of a mental illness. In the move Rodrick is just crazy, creepy, annoying, and can you say  MONOTONE??
